INSECT FRASS /aka Insect poop

One of the true secrets of gardening.

It is used in a similar fashion to worm casting.  It can be used as a top dressing, mixed into the soil, used as a foliar spray, and added to compost tea.

We exclusively use Black Solider Fly Frass

Guaranteed no live insects!

DIRECTIONS AND APPLICATIONS

FOR BEST RESULTS USE DE-CHLORINATED OR WELL WATER

ROOT DRENCH: Add 1/2 cup Frass to 1 gallon of water and apply to the base of the plant. Soak area from rootstock to edge of leaf dew drip line. Apply as you would for a normal watering.

TOP DRESSING: Sprinkle about 1/4 to 1/2 cup of Frass to the base of the plant. Apply to soil starting about 1-2" from main stock to 1-2" past leaf dew drip line. Water in thoroughly.

FOLIAR SPRAY: Add 1/2 to 1 oz (1 Tablespoon) per gallon of water. Frass does not completely dissolve. It is best if the Frass/Water is strained in a suitable mesh bag before being added to the pressure sprayer to avoid clogging. It may be sprayed in a backpack type pump system or with a diaphragm pump and spray system. It is best to remove any filter screens. It may also be applied directly to the leaves with a sprinkler watering can.

HYDROPONICS-AEROPONICS: Add 2 cups per 30 gallons of water. Filter/Strain to a suitable size to meet the requirements of emitters. 400 Microns is suitable for most systems.

COMPOST TEA: Add 1 cup to 20 gallons to increase Fungal Dominance.

FRASS MAY BE APPLIED TO THE PLANTING SITE BEFORE PLANTING AND MAY BE USED UNTIL HARVEST.
